PNG Air Continues Partnership As Official Carrier for Men Of Honour Awards Season 7

Monday 13th February 2023, Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea || PNG Air will continue its partnership with Digicel PNG Foundation as the official carrier for the Men Of Honour Awards season seven this year.

The Men of Honour Campaign is a peace building initiative by Digicel PNG Foundation that focuses on positive behavior with the aim to break the cycle of violence in PNG. To date, the Men of Honour Campaign has awarded 95 men across the nation on the outstanding work they are doing in their communities to build peace and address drivers of violence in their community. This year, the campaign is in its seventh season. Three ambassadors will be selected from each of the four regions, with one ‘Unsung Hero’ award going to an ambassador from each region.

Chief Commercial Officer for PNG Air Simon Pitt was excited to announce that PNG Air will remain a sponsor for the Men of Honour Awards this season.

‘’As a company, we are proud to continue our partnership with Digicel PNG Foundation for the second year as the official carrier for the Men Of Honour Awards. It is also very good for our employees to see the work that they do every day being translated into helping address violence in the country, and to feel a sense of pride to be part of a movement in addressing an important issue.’’

This support is inclusive of return flights for three selected ambassadors, the regional judge with two crewmembers, and ticket prizes for the selected ambassadors.

Digicel PNG Foundation CEO Serena Sasingian was delighted to have PNG Air continue its support for the second year as the official carrier for the Men Of Honour Awards.

The Men of Honour Awards will be hosted in Port Moresby on 18th April 2023.
