Digicel TV secures rights to UEFA Euro 24 & T20 World Cup

Port Vila, Vanuatu – Monday, 3 June 2024 Digicel Vanuatu today announced that Digicel TV has secured exclusive rights to broadcast the UEFA European 2024 (football) and the ICC Men’s T20 (Cricket) World Cup 2024.

All matches from the Euro 2024 and the T20 World Cup will be airing live on Digicel TV and the DTV app. This will give fans comprehensive live broadcasts of matches, commentary, analysis and in-depth behind-the-scenes content.

Euro 2024 kicks off in Germany on 15 June. Defending champions Italy have had an up-and-down season but have the players to retain the title while runners-up England will also vie for glory. France, World Cup runners-up will be a force to be reckoned with, while Portugal, with Cristiano Ronaldo, will look to add another trophy to their cabinet. 

 

The stage is set for the highly anticipated ICC T20 Men's World Cup 2024, co-hosted by the West Indies and USA. The tournament kicks off on 2 June, with the finals on 30 June. This tournament will feature 20 teams, including powerhouse India with their batting maestro Virat Kohli. England, the defending champions, is expected to face stiff competition from Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka and Pakistan. 

 

55 matches will be played across four groups, with every team vying for the coveted title of World Champion.
