Digicel TV and DTV App are the home for the Rugby Championship, Pacific Nations Cup and more international rugby

Apia, Samoa - Tuesday, 13 August 2024

Digicel Samoa is thrilled to announce exclusive live coverage of all twelve matches from the highly anticipated Rugby Championship, with the first two held last weekend, and coverage of all matches from the Pacific Nations Cup starting next week.

Rugby fans are in for a treat as a packed calendar of international matches, club competitions, and iconic tours promises to deliver non-stop excitement. The Autumn International Tests in November will see the Flying Fijians battle it out against Scotland, Wales, and Ireland, while the Southern Hemisphere powerhouses – Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Japan, and Argentina – face off against the ever-improving Northern Hemisphere teams.

The domestic leagues are also brimming with talent. The Premiership and Top 14 will be available live on Digicel TV.

Top 14 powerhouses Jordan Taufua of Stade Niçois and Steven Luatua of Bristol Bears have brought a formidable presence to the French topflight. The dynamic duo, both hailing from New Zealand rugby royalty, have seamlessly transitioned their immense talent to the European stage. Taufua's explosive carries and offloading ability have ignited backlines, while Luatua's uncompromising defence and leadership have anchored forward packs. Their combination of skill, physicality, and experience has made them key figures in their respective clubs and fan favorites across the league.

Digicel TV is also thrilled to announce live broadcast of the Six Nations. As rugby enthusiasts eagerly anticipate the upcoming British & Irish Lions tour, a once-in-a-decade spectacle, the excitement for the sport continues to soar.

Digicel Samoa CEO, Anthony Seuseu, said; “We are delighted to bring all international rugby games live on Digicel TV. With so much rugby to look forward to, there has never been a better time to be a rugby fan. So, grab your jerseys, gather your friends, and prepare for a season of unforgettable action.”
