Digicel Tonga supports Ha’apai & the Free Wesleyan Church Conference

Digicel Tonga is proud to announce its support initiatives for the people of Ha’apai as Ha’apai prepares to host the Free Wesleyan Church Conference. The conference will attract over 2,000 visitors to the island next week.
Digicel Tonga has added 2100 MHz of equipment to its mobile towers, which will increase capacity by 100 MHz per sector, or 40% overall. The increased capacity will offer Ha’apai customers an improved experience and faster speeds. During the conference, Digicel Tonga’s team will offer customers SIM cards, recharges, and MyCash mobile wallet services. Customers are requested to preload their MyCash wallets before the conference.
Digicel Tonga CEO, Daniel Horan, said; “This is one of the largest events ever held in the Ha’apai community. At Digicel Tonga, we wish to offer the best to our customers and community and so we’re thrilled to add 40% additional capacity into the network, as well as ensuring that we have people onsite to service customers over the week. We wish the Ha’apai community a fruitful conference.”
Digicel Tonga’s commitment to its customers and the people of Tonga is unwavering and this addition to its network is a testament to that commitment.
