Digicel PNG Provides Free Calls to Support Communities In Northen & Island Parts of Papua New Guinea Impacted by Cyclone Maila

Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea – Friday, April 10, 2026 – Digicel PNG Limited is closely monitoring Cyclone Maila as it continues to impact parts of Papua New Guinea, with several island and coastal communities currently under weather alert.
In response to the potential impact of Cyclone Malia across parts of Papua New Guinea, Digicel PNG is providing immediate support initiatives to affected communities by enabling 20 free minutes of calls. This initiative is designed to help individuals stay connected with loved ones, access emergency assistance, and coordinate recovery efforts during this critical time.
