Digicel Fiji MyCash collaborates with Land Transport Authority to offer seamless payments

Suva, Fiji – Friday, June 13th 2025

Digicel Pacific has collaborated with the Land Transport Authority (LTA), making it possible for Digicel Pacific MyCash customers to easily set up LTA as a new biller and make payments for key services directly from their MyCash wallet.

MyCash users can now easily pay for traffic infringement notices from their mobile phone, without needing to visit an LTA office. This initiative is designed to help eliminate long queues and reduce wait times, offering a faster, more efficient customer experience.

Digicel Fiji CEO, Farid Mohammed, said; “We are excited to have LTA on MyCash to provide Fijians with a more convenient and hassle-free solution for their LTA payments. Digicel Fiji is committed to enhancing the digital lives of our customers, and this collaboration aligns perfectly with our mission to make everyday life easier through innovation. We believe this will significantly improve the overall customer experience for our users. The convenience and efficiency offered by MyCash will benefit Fijians”

When a Traffic Infringement Notice (TIN) is paid with MyCash, it’s updated in real-time in LTA’s system. The instant update eliminates the necessity of manual reconciliation and waiting periods, enabling LTA to process customers’ services and transactions instantly. It further improves transparency and accuracy, encouraging customers to use digital payments via the MyCash app. Customers have enhanced convenience and peace of mind, never needing to visit an LTA office or call to check for payments. The instant update allows them to proceed with related services like vehicle or license renewals without disruption, making the overall process faster, simpler, and more reliable.

By integrating LTA as a business biller on the MyCash app, Digicel Pacific has positioned MyCash as the go-to mobile wallet for essential bill payments in Fiji. Through the continued expansion of its service provider portfolio, MyCash empowers users with practical digital solutions that save time and offer greater flexibility.

To make payments, MyCash users can simply load funds into their accounts through various channels, including ANZ, BSP, BRED, Westpac and HFC Banks, or deposit at nearby MyCash agents. Then, easily select LTA under more bills on the MyCash app and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the transaction. Additionally, LTA offices have QR codes for MyCash payments adding to the extensive network of over 2,400 Digicel Fiji MyCash QR payment points across the country.

MyCash offers a wide range of services, including bill payments, money transfers and top-ups.
