Digicel Fiji Gets 5G Ready

Suva, Fiji – Friday, 15 March 2023

Digicel Fiji today announced it is working with Nokia to upgrade cell tower sites across the country as it prepares for the rollout of 5G which will deliver high-speed connectivity for customers.


The upgrades are swiftly progressing in Suva as Digicel Fiji anticipates the imminent completion of 5G testing and the granting of regulatory approvals by the Government of Fiji, enabling Digicel Fiji to connect businesses and consumers with 5G.

Digicel Fiji's upgraded cell tower sites meet strict 5G cybersecurity standards, safeguarding critical national infrastructure with resilience and security.
