PARTICIPANT ELIGIBILITY
A valid participant must be:
A resident of Tonga
Physically present at the event on Friday 6th December 2024
Have their own personal phone, that has PUBG Mobile installed, that is signed into the player’s personal PUBG Mobile account and is capable of joining PUBG Mobile rooms
Registered on the Digicel website or present on day of event.
At least 16 years old or with parental consent.
If you do not meet the above eligibility criteria, you will not be permitted to join the lobbies.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
The tournament consists of 2 tournament stages, the group stage and the winners stage.
Group Stage:

Top 10* players per group will be invited to the winner’s stage
Winner’s Stage
3 drops
Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok
* = subject to change based on final registration numbers, admins on site will confirm on the day.
If only enough players for one lobby, Group stage will be skipped and the tournament will commence with the Winners Stage only.

Players get points based on their placement in each match and the total number of eliminations.

Changing between TPP and FPP in-game is allowed. Enabled vague information means, players can’t see a player name of the player they knocked / who knocked them.
TIEBREAKER
Tie breaker rules:
Total number of won matches in the tournament stage
Total number of placement points in the tournament stage
Total number of kill points in the tournament stage
Placement in the most recent match of the tournament stage.
PREPARATION TIME
Preparation time is the provided time frame before the start time (unless otherwise specified) and is set as a minimum of 30 minutes between stages. The teams should use this time to check whether they are optimally prepared. During this time, players must do the following:
Check the functionality of all equipment.
Log in to PUBG MOBILE with their own PUBG MOBILE account.
Check their in-game skins so they comply with required in-game apparel if any. You are not allowed to change or remove skins during the match.
Ensure your mobile device has enough charge to last the entire duration of the stage
Follow the instructions of referees.
Join the tournament lobby in the respective slot and prepare for your next match.
STARTING TIME
The match start time is determined by the tournament organiser. The minimum break between maps is 5 minutes. At their scheduled start time, all tournament officials and players must be ready. It is the responsibility of those responsible for the tournament to announce the start times. It is the player’s responsibility to ensure that they are on time and ready at the start time. The tournament organiser will not wait for the participants if the start time has elapsed.
NUMBER OF PLAYERS
Each match can start with a minimum of 50 players. In case a player fails to show up or join the lobby before the start of the match, the player will be removed from the tournament room and the match will be counted as a no-show.
GAME OF RECORD (GoR)
A game of record (“GoR”) refers to a game where all the players have loaded, and which has progressed to the point of meaningful interaction between opposing teams. Once a game attains GoR status, the period ends in which remakes may be permitted, and a game will be considered on record from that point onward. Exceptions will be made upon referee intervention. A game becomes a GoR when the last player leaves the plane.
REHOSTING THE GAME
The match can be rehosted in the case of any technical issue or emergency.
The tournament organiser may rehost the match at their sole discretion to maintain a good game experience.
PAUSE/BREAK/TIMEOUT
No pauses, breaks or timeouts will be granted while a match is ongoing.
DISCONNECT
Players affected by disconnect or any noted in game bugs will continue to play once the match has passed the GoR point.
STREAMING
Individuals are not allowed to livestream their POV at any point during the competition.
MATCH COMMUNICATION
During the live match, players are not allowed to communicate with anyone except communication with the tournament official. Getting match-related information during the live match from anyone by any means is strictly prohibited. Communication with other team members, including the coach, is allowed only before and after all matches and during breaks.
DEVICE ACCESSORIES
Mobile phones: Players are only allowed access to their personal mobile device for PUBG Mobile. Any unauthorised activity on their mobile phone will be investigated and disciplinary action may be taken (such as confiscating the equipment).
GAME MODIFICATIONS
Players may use only the software and operating system installed by the tournament organiser and aren't allowed to modify it by any means. The current global version of the game will be used.
FORBIDDEN BEHAVIOUR
If a player commits misconduct or any inappropriate act, the referee may take disciplinary action against the individual which can include a caution, warning, forfeit, or expulsion.
Every participant must show respect towards the other participants and the referees. Insults or disrespectful behaviour towards anyone will not be tolerated and will result in disciplinary action.
Every participant must compete to the best of their ability at every stage of the competition. Purposefully losing for any reason is strictly forbidden and will result in disciplinary action.
If any player is found manipulating the client or their phone to customize the game beyond the range of settings provided in-game, the player's participation may be forfeited upon the referee's decision.
CHANGE OF RULES
This regulation applies to LetsPlay.Live and Digicel, and may be altered in the following cases:

The referees may also judge any cases not specifically covered in this book and their authority extends to cover the tournament as a whole in addition to this rulebook. Any changes made shall be in effect from the moment such changes are communicated to the participants.

On the day, there will be content teams from LPL and Digicel filming / broadcast online. By attending the event, you provide LPL and Digicel with consent for your likeliness to be filmed, stored and posted on social media.
