The Digicel Foundations and Digicel's Caring Connections are corporate responsibility programmes established in the Caribbean in 2004 with the purpose of strengthening communities by addressing education, youth, social and cultural needs.

The Digicel Jamaica Foundation was established in September 2004 and the Digicel Haiti Foundation was established in March 2007. The Digicel Papua New Guinea Foundation is work in progress and is expected to be operating by mid 2008.

We know the best people to drive our corporate responsibility programmes are Digicel staff members themselves. We want communities to not only benefit from the financial support of our CSR programmes but also from the skills, team work and dedication of our extraordinary staff in order for the projects to be truly sustainable. We do it the Digicel way: careful planning, efficient management and rapid rollout!
