Digicel Launches “text To Win A Home” Competition
August 25th 2008 - For the first time in PNG mobile customers can text to win a home
Monday August 25, 2008 - Port Moresby: Digicel, the fastest-growing mobile operator in the Pacific, has launched a text to win a home competition, a first of its kind in PNG.
The text to win a home competition is open to all Digicel customers both prepaid and postpaid. All the customer has to do is to text the word “HOME” to 7777 to go into a lucky draw to win a three bedroom kit home. The more text messages a customer sends the more chance the customer has to be the lucky winner of a new home. The text messages to 7777 cost 1 Kina per message.
Digicel PNG CEO, John Mangos, said of the new promotion: “We are very excited about the launch of this new promotion. This is the first time in PNG that a mobile operator has launched a text to win competition with the chance to win your very own home. Digicel likes to surprise its customers with exciting new promotions such as this and will continue to interact with its customers in innovative ways.”
