DIGICEL PNG & BSP INK ATM TOPUP AGREEMENT   

Bigger, Better Access for Consumers

Tuesday, November 4, 2008 – Port Moresby: Digicel, the fastest-growing mobile operator in the Pacific, and Bank South Pacific are proud to move into the next phase of banking and mobile services, via the new ATM TOP UP facility.

Digicel PNG CEO John Mangos said
"As Digicel rolls out across all twenty provinces, ATM top-ups will provide significant value-added for Digicel PNGs growing subscriber base, adding to our growing range of services. Digicel believes in putting the needs of the consumer first, and Digicel's partnership with BSP will broaden the range of options and services available to people across PNG."

BSP has installed new ATMs with Top Up functionality, which will be on trial at the Waigani Branch in the next few weeks. This service will be available on over 100 ATMs over the next few weeks and BSP hopes to have the Top Up service progressively available on all ATM's by April next year. The Phone Top Up credit will be available at BSP ATM locations displaying the Phone Top UP sticker with easy prompts to guide the customers.
