John Mangos- Chief Executive Officer, Digicel PNG Limited
John is responsible for operations of Digicel Papua New Guinea. John joined Digicel in 2005 as General Manager of the Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) business covering the islands of St Lucia, St Vincent and Grenada.
In July 2007, John was promoted to CEO of the East Caribbean which expanded his responsibilities to include British Virgin Islands, Anguilla, St Kitts and Nevis, Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Dominica. Prior to working with Digicel, John held senior positions with Eircom, the telecommunications fixed line operator in Ireland and a successful start-up wholesale and retail IP company in Australia.
Christian Pepe Fruen- Chief Executive Officer, Digicel Samoa Limited
Christian Fruean has a wealth of telecommunications industry experience joining Digicel Samoa in 2006 as Commercial Manager from the Government owned incumbent SamoaTel and subsequently took over as CEO of Digicel Samoa to oversee the launch of its services in 2006.
Digicel Pacific launched its first GSM network in Samoa in 2006 and the company now operates in six markets in the region. Christian has been at the helm from start-up to its current position as market leader and has set the standards for network coverage, service and value has brought affordable and accessible mobile communications to both urban and rural communities.
Christian holds a Bachelor Degree in Management from Waikato University New Zealand, a Masters of Commerce from the Australian National University (ANU) and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Maurice McCarthy- Chief Executive Officer, Digicel Fiji
Maurice was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Digicel Fiji in October 2012. He joined Digicel in April 2009 as Head of Sales and Distribution.
Maurice has over 12 years sales experience and has been involved in mobile industries in Ireland as the National Sales Manager and Director of Sales and Distribution.
In Fiji, Maurice has been very influential in building the corporate business, refining retail structure and footprint and implementing effective distribution channels.
Jesse Allison- Chief Executive Officer, Digicel Tonga Limited
Originally from the UK. Mr. Allison has over 15 years of telecommunications and management experience. Since joining Digicel in August 2010, Mr. Allison has served as the CFO of Digicel Fiji prior to moving to Digicel Tonga in August 2012 as CFO.
Mr. Allison has extensive experience in improving organizational productivity and performance. Mr. Allison is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and holds an honors degree from the University of Hull, England.
Paul Stafford – Chief Executive Officer, Digicel Vanuatu Limited
Paul Stafford moved to Vanuatu as Chief Executive Officer in September 2011. Prior to this, he was Chief Executive Officer of Digicel Tonga from February 2010 until September 2011.
Before Tonga, Paul was the General Manager of Digicel Nauru where he led the network roll-out and business launch of this market. Paul joined Digicel in January2009 as Sales and Distribution Director for Digicel Fiji.
Before working for Digicel, Paul held General Management positions with Mercedes-Benz in the UK and has extensive experience in the management of cross-functional disciplines.
Simon began his career with Digicel in 2012 as Operations Manager in Nauru. He has since taken over as Nauru CEO. Simon comes from an Industrial Relations/Human Resources background having previously worked with the Irish Business & Employer’s Confederation.
Simon holds a BA from National University of Ireland Galway, an MSc from Queens University Belfast, an MBS from Dublin City University as well as diplomas in Economics and Financial Trading from Independent Colleges, Dublin. Simon is a chartered member of the Institute of Personnel & Development.
